Adjusted council proposal to expand business park

The College of Mayor and Aldermen has amended the council proposal on the expansion of the business park in Aalten. The adjusted proposal will be discussed in the judgment-forming council meeting on Tuesday, December 3.

The area southwest of the existing business park and north of Keizers Brook is designated for development.

The college has asked the city council to approve the further development of the expansion plans for the Aalten business park. During the judgment-forming meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 19, it was decided that the proposal was "not yet ripe" for decision-making. This means that the proposal will not be discussed during the council meeting on Nov. 26.

Modified proposal

In response to the questions raised during the judgment-forming council meeting, the council proposal has been modified. The agenda committee, in which all groups are represented, has put this modified council proposal on the agenda for the judgment-forming meeting on Tuesday, December 3. Depending on the outcome of this meeting, the city council may decide on the proposal on Dec. 17.
