Incubator for culture, technology, music and housing

Various social organizations will jointly take over part of the building, namely the former auditorium, gymnasium and part of the entrance area. The KBTO Foundation, STAD for the Technique, Fanfare Orchestra Psalm 150, Music Education Foundation Fanfare Talents and the Free Baptist Church Dinxperlo will thus have a permanent place for their organizations. This puts an end to the associations' years of wandering existence and fulfills the council's wish for a permanent solution for the various social and cultural organizations in Dinxperlo.

Space for affordable housing 

For the remainder of the building, the former classrooms, plans are being developed for about 17 affordable studios and/or apartments. Whether these will be rental or condominiums is not yet known. The college wants to continue cooperation with the Achterhoekse Wooncoöperatie (AWC), with the goal of realizing affordable rental housing for residents of Dinxperlo. In the coming months it will become clear whether this is also financially feasible. If it is not, sales will be considered as an alternative. This is expected to be clear by mid 2026. Interested parties cannot yet apply for the homes. As soon as there is more clarity about this, the municipality will announce this through the usual channels.
