City Council decides Dec. 17 on council proposal to expand business park

The board of mayor and aldermen asked the city council to approve conducting the in-depth studies for the development of the area southwest of the existing business park and north of the Keizersbeek River into a new business park near the Aalten core.
The council proposal was modified as a result of the November 19 judgment meeting. At that meeting, it was decided that the proposal then before us was "not yet ripe" for decision. The change relates specifically to decision point 2. This is explained in council communication 179-2024.
This council proposal was discussed at the Dec. 3 judgment meeting and placed on the agenda for the Dec. 17 City Council meeting. This means that the City Council will decide on the council proposal on December 17. You can find all meeting documents at Agenda Aalten - City Council Tuesday, December 17, 2024 19:30 - 23:00.
You are of course welcome to attend the council meeting on December 17. This meeting can also be followed live via Meetings. It is not possible to speak at this meeting.
