Open House for Clubs
Following the success of the previous open house for clubs and community organizations, the municipality of Aalten, in collaboration with the Talentverbinder and the Aaltense Uitdaging, is once again hosting an open house. This time, the event will take place on Wednesday evening, May 27, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Kulturhus in Dinxperlo.
We warmly invite all organizations to come to this open house with their questions, concerns, and requests. The goal is to facilitate an accessible dialogue between the municipality and community organizations. We want to help, connect, and advise on everything from day-to-day administrative matters to governance issues. Experience has shown that no topic is too outlandish to discuss; from tips on fundraising and grants to laws and regulations, and from recruiting volunteers to collaborating with other parties—we’ll cover it all!
From grant opportunities to social and safety
We’ve noticed that some organizations are still unclear about the various programs and grants offered by the municipality to support them, such as the Micro-Incentive Program and the Project Grant. And did you know that the municipality offers a group volunteer insurance policy for all volunteers active in the municipality? This open house is the perfect opportunity to have an informal conversation and explore together where opportunities lie.
National sports federations and the NOC*NSF are increasingly focusing on creating a socially safe sports environment. The municipality of Aalten believes it is important that not only sports clubs are committed to this, but that the entire community of organizations strives for social safety. After all, all clubs are important for a strong social foundation in our municipality. Naturally, we want to support clubs in this effort. We can do this by, among other things, assisting with joint training sessions for confidential advisors and by contributing ideas regarding policy frameworks and codes of conduct.
