Liander work in the center of Aalten


Liander will soon start work on Landstraat, in the center of Aalten. This is part of the grid expansion in our municipality. We are using and producing more and more electricity, for example for lighting and heating homes, electric cooking, and charging electric cars. To make this possible, Liander is expanding and strengthening the electricity grid and preparing it for the future.

What's going to happen?

From the end of January, Liander will be carrying out drilling and excavation work on Landstraat. Drilling will be carried out to pull cables through. Liander will try to cause as little disruption as possible. For this reason, the drilling work will only take place on Mondays. On these days, part of the road will be dug up and closed again at the end of the day.

Shops and homes remain accessible as much as possible

During the work, part of the road may be temporarily closed. Where possible, planks will be laid over the excavations so that you can still pass. The street will be narrowed but will remain accessible. The work will continue until the end of March (depending on weather conditions) and will be carried out by the companies Antonides and A. Hak.
