Announcement of draft TAM environmental plan Chapter 22a Rural area restoration decision

The plan 

This amendment to the environmental plan follows a ruling by the Administrative Law Division of the Council of State on March 10, 2020. The plan provides for a new usage provision (nitrogen regulation) for plots of land designated for agricultural use.

The plan aims to prevent an increase in nitrogen deposition in surrounding Natura 2000 areas, such as the Korenburgerveen. The plan sets the permitted nitrogen deposition for agricultural businesses in the municipality. In most cases, reference is made to the irrevocable nature permit (issued by the Provincial Executive of Gelderland). For businesses that do not have such a permit, the plan includes a reference date.

Specific regulations have been included for a stable at the location on Velsdijk near no. 6/6a).  

Participation

During the public inspection period, anyone may submit their opinion on the draft plan to the Municipal Executive in writing or verbally.

Please send your written response to the mayor and aldermen of Aalten, postbus , 7120 AC Aalten, stating 'response to draft environmental plan for rural areas'. You can also submit a response via gemeente@aalten.nl.

The province of Gelderland will be given the opportunity to issue advice on this plan.

The draft plan will be available for viewing online for a period of six weeks, starting on Thursday, January 30, 2025. It has been added at the bottom of the page.
