Board approves urban development plan 't Beggelder Dinxperlo
Important step in the development of a new, sustainable residential neighborhood
On May 6, the municipal executive approved the urban development plan for the 't Beggelder residential area on the west side of Dinxperlo. This marks an important step in the development of a new, future-proof residential area in the village. The initiative for this plan lies with KlaassenGroep and Klomps Bouwbedrijf, in collaboration with the municipality of Aalten.

The urban plan is a further elaboration of the previously adopted Development Vision. The plan provides space for approximately 255 homes, with the first 150 homes planned until 2031. The plan contributes strongly to solving the housing shortage in Dinxperlo and the region, with a varied supply of social rental housing, affordable owner-occupied housing and housing in the free sector.
Green neighborhood with village feel
The new neighborhood will have a clear, green structure that blends in with the existing landscape. Height differences and the typical camp landscape form the basis for the design. The neighborhood will have a small-scale, village-like appearance and will blend in well with existing neighborhoods such as De Hagen, De Hooilanden Bosmanslaan. Walking and cycling paths will connect new and existing neighborhoods.
Together with the environment
Neighbors and other stakeholders were actively involved in the planning process from the beginning. Valuable input was collected during various meetings and discussions. The urban plan was presented to the surrounding area in January 2025 and received mostly positively. Some suggestions led to adjustments in the plan.
Follow-up: towards environmental plan
The urban design plan proposal will be discussed by the city council in June. If the council agrees, the development of the visual quality plan and the draft environmental plan will follow. The drafts of these are expected by the end of 2025. Interested parties will then have another opportunity to contribute ideas and respond.
