Annual Report 2021 - 2022

Foreword

This annual report contains many topics about the years 2021 and 2022. If you look at
the table of contents, you quickly see that there are many diverse topics
dealt with by the CCE. This is what makes committee work so interesting.
Topics mostly intertwined with the past and present. Think
for example, the grand project 1572. Partly due to the support
of many volunteers this has become a successful happening. Or to
farm "the Welsker," whose shovel is now skillfully restored
and ready for the future. The owners have not been chosen as the
winners of the heritage award. Remarkably, in 2021 there were two winners of
this heritage award were. Both from Aalten (Leo van de Linde) and from Dinxperlo
(Ben Maandag), both for their efforts in the historical field. A lot of time was invested
in the church vision, resulting in a beautiful manifesto for the preservation
of religious heritage in our municipality and as a guide for beyond.
There are many more topics I could name. Read this report
quietly and form your own view of the committee's work. In connection
the new Heritage Act 2023 we said goodbye to five members thanks in part to
their efforts the heritage committee functioned successfully!
This annual report demonstrates how important our heritage is and how worthwhile it is to work for it.
to dedicate ourselves to it.
