Assistance with an employment disability

Do you want to work, but have an employment disability? Then you can get help in finding work and in the work itself.
You have a work limitation if, for example, you have an illness, disability or mental impairment:

• Have difficulty finding or keeping a job, or
• need help you can't get in a regular business, or
• cannot work.

Jobs Agreement

Are you unable to earn the minimum wage because of your disability? The government and employers have made an agreement on more jobs for people with labor disabilities. We call this the job agreement. With a job agreement indication you will be included in the UWV target group register. You will then have a better chance of finding work.

Sheltered employment

Do you need a lot of support, or an adapted workplace? And can't work in a regular company? Then you may be eligible for sheltered employment. You can apply for an assessment of your ability to work in sheltered employment at UWV. Do you have a sheltered employment indication? Wajong

If you contracted an illness or disability at a young age and are therefore unable to work now and in the future, you may be able to receive Wajong benefits. You can apply for Wajong at UWV.
