Assistance in finding employment or day care services

What is it?

You want to work (again). The UWV and the municipality can help you find work or a suitable daytime activity. They can also offer you other help that will increase your chances of getting a job.

There are several options for support:

Help from the UWV

Did you leave your job due to illness? Or do you receive income from the UWV? If so, the UWV and the municipality can help you. Examples include:

Training

You can get an education at a school that accommodates your children's school hours. Sometimes they even offer child care. You can also get training part time.

Financial aid

Financial assistance for expenses related to your reemployment. How much you get depends on your income.

Job coach

A job coach guides people with physical, mental or psychological disabilities to or into a job if they cannot work without support. You will therefore only receive support from a job coach if and for as long as this is necessary.

What to do.

Go to a Werkplein near you. This is where the municipality and the UWV work together to help you find work.

You can also look for work yourself directly. For example, through newspaper ads, the UWV, employment agencies, the Internet or through your own network. You can also re-enter the workforce if you get a subsidized job or do volunteer work.

Help from the Simple Switching Team

You want to work or otherwise participate in a place that is right for you. If the UWV cannot help you with this, you can turn to the Simple Switching Team for help. You can find more information in the button below.
