Youth voice: confidant for young people and parents
Are you or your child involved with youth services and do you have questions, concerns, or doubts? Then you can contact Jeugdstem. Jeugdstem is the independent confidential advisor for children, young people, and parents/guardians in youth care.
What does Jeugdstem do?
The confidential advisors at Jeugdstem listen, think along with you, and provide explanations. They know how youth care works and what rights you or your child have. Their support is free of charge.
You can contact Jeugdstem for:
- information and advice about youth assistance and the Youth Act;
- questions about rights and obligations in youth care;
- support during meetings with the municipality or a social worker;
- assistance in filing a complaint or objection.
Independent and confidential
Jeugdstem is an independent foundation. The confidential advisors do not work for the municipality or for healthcare organizations. Everything you discuss is confidential.
