Frameworks for selling public green space

What is it?

The municipality of Aalten considers the preservation of public green spaces to be important. However, there are also locations that are difficult or impossible for the municipality to access for maintenance purposes, such as plots that are completely enclosed by private property or dead-end paths and roads with a passage width of less than 3.5 meters. For these plots, the municipality offers adjacent plot owners the opportunity to purchase them. Purchase options included in short-term lease agreements remain in force.
