Frameworks for selling public green space
What is it?
The municipality of Aalten considers the preservation of public green spaces important. However, there are some locations that are impossible or difficult for the municipality to maintain, such as plots completely enclosed by private property or dead-end paths and roads with a passage of less than 3.5 meters. For these parcels, the municipality gives adjacent parcel owners the option to purchase them. Purchase options included in short-term leases remain in effect.
