What do you think of the new Mobility Plan 2040?
The municipality of Aalten is working on a new plan for traffic and transport: the Mobility Plan 2040. This plan outlines how we will ensure safe, sustainable, and accessible ways to get from A to B in the coming years. This new plan replaces the old traffic plan from 2010-2020 and is in line with the latest developments and broader goals at the national and regional level. Think, for example, of cleaner transport, better cycle paths, a more attractive living environment, and safe roads for everyone—whether you walk, cycle, drive, or use public transport. Now that the plan is largely complete, we are interested in your opinion.

You can view the new Mobility Plan. This plan was developed after an extensive participation process and a thorough analysis of the current traffic network. We invite all residents to share your ideas, comments, and reactions with us so that we can further improve the plan and better tailor it to your wishes.
