Official opening of the public restroom in Dinxperlo
The public restroom on Wilhelminastraat Dinxperlo was officially opened today by Alderman . With the restroom now open, Dinxperlo gains an important and practical facility for residents and visitors alike.

The restroom is located at the entrance to the parking lot on Wilhelminastraat is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Regular users pay €0.50 per visit. For individuals with a special access key, the restroom is free to use. The striking Corten steel unit features Sanitronics’ innovative Revolving Toilet System. Thanks to this system, the restroom is automatically cleaned and dried after use for the next user.
Accessible and welcoming
Alderman is pleased with the installation of the public restroom. “With this public restroom, we’re ensuring that everyone feels welcome and free to visit the city center. This not only makes the area more accessible, but also more pleasant and attractive for both our residents and visitors,” said Alderman .
Two-year pilot program
The municipality previously entered into an agreement with Sanitronics of Rotterdam for the installation of the restroom unit. The restroom will initially be installed as a pilot project for a period of two years. This means that in early 2028, a decision will be made on whether to make the restroom facility permanent.
