The Omgevingswet will apply from January 1, 2024.

The Environmental Desk will also start operating from that moment. At this desk, you can:

  • check whether a permit is required for your (construction) project;
  • determine whether you need to file a report;
  • apply for your permits and submit notifications immediately;
  • See which rules and policies apply to which activity(ies) in a Map location.
  • request a consultation with the municipality;
  • See an overview of the reports and requests you have made.

The Omgevingsloket is still under development. Over the coming years, the Omgevingsloket will be continuously improved, filled, and expanded. In addition, you can still submit applications and notifications to the municipality in other ways. Please contact the municipality for more information.

OLO, Ruimtelijkeplannen.nl, and AIM to be taken offline as of January 1, 2024

Once the Omgevingswet comes into force, you Omgevingswet no longer Omgevingswet submit permit applications and notifications via Omgevingsloket online (OLO) and the Activities Decree Internet Module (AIM). This can then be done via the new Omgevingsloket, part of the Digital System Omgevingswet DSO). Ruimtelijkeplannen.nl, where zoning plans can be consulted, will also be taken offline. From January 1, 2024, you will be able to consult these via the new Omgevingsloket. Even if an application is already in draft form or has preliminary consultation status, it will no longer be possible to submit it via Omgevingsloket online on or after January 1, 2024.

Applications submitted via OLO before January 1, 2024, can still be supplemented via OLO until July 1, 2024. Omgevingswet after the Omgevingswet comes into force, you can still submit additions to applications already submitted via OLO. This is possible for up to six months after the date of entry into force.
