Store opening hours

What is it?

The municipality of Aalten has adopted a Shop Opening Hours Ordinance. There is a general exemption regarding the opening hours of shops on Sundays and public holidays. This means that shops may be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays and public holidays. These opening hours also apply from Monday to Saturday. However, the exemption does not apply to:

• Christmas Day;
• Easter Sunday;
• Pentecost Sunday;
• May 4 after 7 p.m.
