What is it?
The municipality keeps personal data on all residents in the Personal Records Database (BRP). The municipality needs this data if, for example, you get married or your passport expires. If necessary, the municipality may also share your data with other government agencies, such as the Tax and Customs Administration, the judiciary, or the police. Or with organizations such as pension funds and housing associations.
