Private (hobby) horse troughs are popular. Sometimes there is a light pole near the arena. Because of the openness of our landscape, that light is visible from afar.

The zoning plan for rural areas regulates the maximum height of lighting columns and Requirements under which Requirements may be installed.

This is how we do it from now on

  • The outdoor zoning plan for agricultural areas states that light poles are allowed up to a maximum building height of 8 m, provided that fixtures are used that prevent excessive light diffusion (stray light).
  • No light poles may be placed in "Agricultural Area with Values" unless necessary for business operations.
  • No lighting may be placed near a horse trough in the rural area with residential zoning.
