Project grant, general
What is it?
The municipality provides various (forms of) subsidies to associations/organizations in the broad social field. Project subsidies are particularly characterized by their one-time nature. By providing project subsidies, the municipality wants to stimulate new activities, events or projects that complement the structurally subsidized range of activities in the broad social welfare field.
How does it work?
Based on the project subsidy scheme, the municipality can provide occasional subsidies to civil society organizations for (re)new(ed) social community activities.
A project grant may be awarded upon application in the form of:
- A one-time appreciation grant for activities, which have an innovative and special character (so are not part of the basic activities of your organization), and with which there is a clear added value to the already subsidized package of activities;
- a one-time experimental grant for already subsidized institutions, which want to organize, on a trial basis, a new activity for which an additional recruiting or stimulating effect is expected;
- a one-time guarantee subsidy for activities of an innovative nature that are expected to take place at break-even, but may not otherwise get off the ground without a municipal guarantee.
Size of project grant
The project grant to be provided may be awarded up to a maximum of €1,000 per application.
