Regional Care Hotline
Residents and healthcare professionals have the opportunity to report if they suspect healthcare fraud. A Regional Healthcare Hotline has been established for this purpose.
What can you report?
(Suspicions of) fraud, financial errors, quality problems or undesirable practices of healthcare organizations.
This concerns reports about care organizations that provide assistance and/or support to residents in the field of the Social Support Act (Wmo) and Youth Aid on behalf of the municipalities of Aalten, Berkelland, Bronckhorst, Doetinchem, Montferland, Oost Gelre, Oude IJsselstreek or Winterswijk.
Reports about residents committing healthcare fraud can also be made to this hotline.
The hotline does not handle complaints. You can submit these to your healthcare organization. You can have a complaint if you are dissatisfied with the way the healthcare organization informs you. Or about the way they deal with you. Your complaint may also be about procedural or organizational errors. Care organizations have an (independent) complaints committee. This committee can also tell you where to go if you are dissatisfied with the decision of the complaints committee.
