City Council Members Appointed and Sworn In
The aldermen were officially appointed during the council meeting on Wednesday, July 8.
The aldermen—Arnold Joost (CDA), Rik van Lochem CDA), Alex Walter (GemeenteBelangen), and Joop Wikkerink (Progressieve Partij + PRO)—together with Mayor Anton Stapelkamp and City Clerk Annemieke Gildhuis, form the new municipal executive. Over the next four years, they will work to implement the coalition program “Strong Together for the Municipality of Aalten” and address the challenges facing the municipality in the coming years.
