Have your say on freight rail transport
The State is investigating how best to transport goods by rail from the Dutch and Belgian ports to northeastern Europe in the future. This is being done within the Goods Routing Northeast Europe (GNOE) project. Before making any decisions on this, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management wants to know what residents think is important.
Questionnaire
Therefore, a nationwide Participatory Value Evaluation (PWE) is running through the first week of October. Residents can share their opinions, concerns and ideas through a 10-15 minute online questionnaire. The results will feed into the broader study on rail freight and GNOE.
Achterhoek voice
Like many other areas, the Achterhoek is an inventory area. The expansion of the current freight rail network, or a new route, can have an impact on the landscape and livability of a region. We therefore believe it is important that Achterhoek voices are also heard. Take part and let us know what you think is important.
