New Raw Materials Collection Point: the GRIP truck in Aalten and Dinxperlo
Starting January 1, you can drop off small quantities of raw materials at the new GRIP truck in Aalten and Dinxperlo. GRIP stands for GRondstoffen InleverPunt (Raw Materials Drop-off Point) and makes it easy to separate waste properly and recover valuable raw materials.

You can bring materials that are valuable for reuse to the GRIP truck, such as Styrofoam, Household Hazardous Waste small electrical appliances.
What does "small quantities" mean?
A small amount is roughly equivalent to a large shopping bag full.
For larger quantities or bulky household waste, please visit the waste collection point at Aalbers, Zomerweg in Aalten, and Complexie, Helmkamp in Dinxperlo.
What can go to the GRIP wagon?
You can drop off the following small quantities of raw materials at the GRIP cart:
- electrical devices
- styrofoam
- wood and debris
- Household Hazardous Waste
- flat glass
- hard plastics
- metal
Where is the GRIP truck and when?
You can drop off commodities at the GRIP cart on Wednesday morning:
- In Dinxperlo: every Wednesday in odd-numbered weeks from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the rear of the Wilhelminastraat parking lot.
- In Aalten: every Wednesday in even weeks from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Hoge Blik parking lot, behind the Hema.
GRIP truck replaces KCA truck and home collection by appointment
With the arrival of the GRIP truck, the familiar KCA truck will disappear. From January 1, 2025, you can Household Hazardous Waste drop off Household Hazardous Waste at the GRIP truck. In addition, starting next year, we will also stop collecting Household Hazardous Waste homes by appointment in the spring and fall.
