New signs at business parks in Aalten and Dinxperlo draw attention to collective security
Eight new signs are being installed as part of the collective security measures for the industrial estates in Aalten and Dinxperlo. Four signs will be placed at the most frequently used access roads to the industrial estates in Aalten, and four at those in Dinxperlo. The first has already been installed, with the rest to follow shortly.

The signs make visible that collective security is present in these areas. They emphasize the importance of security for business owners, staff and visitors.
The campaign is an initiative of the "Safe Business Park" partnership, in which the Aalten-Dinxperlo Industrial Association (IKAD), the municipality of Aalten, the police, and the fire department are working together. The costs for the signs will be shared between IKAD and the municipality of Aalten.
Mayor Anton Stapelkamp: "Nice to see that we are working together with IKAD on this. We have the same goal in mind: business parks that are safe and well organized. With this action we hope to further increase safety awareness. In this way we ensure together that entrepreneurs can work comfortably and we strengthen the quality of life in our municipality."
Part of broader approach to security
Placing the signs is one of the visible steps in a broader approach. By making joint agreements on security, maintenance and management, crime is prevented and nuisance limited. This contributes to a safe, well-organized working environment and gives business owners confidence that their premises are well guarded.
