Temporary closure of N819 between Aalten and Dinxperlo
The province will soon carry out large-scale pruning work along the Dinxperlosestraatweg, the N819, between Aalten and Dinxperlo. For this, the road will be completely closed to all traffic from Monday, August 18 to Friday, September 5 (week 34 to 36).
The work is being carried out by the company Wolterinck B.V. They work with large machines. Turning and maneuvering this equipment on the narrow roadway is difficult and poses safety risks. Therefore, the road will be completely closed during the work. In addition, work on the asphalt will be carried out during the same period.
Times closure:
- Daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- In addition, the road will be closed on the night of Thursday, August 21 to Friday, August 22. Traffic will then be diverted with signs.
Bike lanes remain accessible
The adjacent bike lanes will remain open during the work. Cyclists can continue to ride as usual on the adjacent bike path with possibly some inconvenience.
Detour route and information for local residents
A detour route will be established. This will be clearly marked with signs. At the beginning and end of the closure in Aalten and Dinxperlo there will be traffic controllers. Local residents have already been informed by letter about the work and its consequences.
