What will change for contractors?

The WKB strengthens your position as a client and brings changes for contractors, such as:

• Upon completion, the contractor must give you a completion file.
• In new construction, the contractor must inform private clients of its insurance.
• There will be additional requirements for contractors' warning obligations for construction work, including clear, written and timely warnings.
• Even after completion, the contractor remains responsible for any defects.

These changes apply to all construction activities for which a construction contract has been signed.
